Solid REVIEW: Both games are amazing to play with the Remastered version being absolutely better with more story and dialog. The PS1 (Original PlayStation) version is still fun to play but the biggest annoyances are the outdated music, 90’s acting as well as 90’s stereotypes that are in the game itself. It is still an excellent game top-of-the-line gameplay of its time and was improved upon in the Remaster. Remaster gets the Gold Shield for being an exceptional Remaster of the Original.
SolidREVIEW: The Remake is very good with the updates to the game in comparison to the original, however, the original holds its own with its original story and introduction of the Scenario System Replay allowing increased game time with two amazing characters. Live-action scenes were done away with in favor of CG Scenes and the Remake was able to use photorealistic imaging for its scenes. The sound has improved greatly but the original tracks are still well done. Remaster gets a Gold Shield with a little tarnish on it for some gripes. What gripes are those?
